In honor of LABOR DAY, Bro. Larry has asked that everyone wear the clothes they labor in. This simply means that if you dress in a uniform to work, then you wear that uniform to church. If you wear a suit and tie, then wear a suit and tie to church. If you dress casual, then dress casual.
YOU ARE INVITED! The Ladies' Club will be hosting a baby shower in honor of Ivy Yates on Saturday, September 12th from 2:00 to 4:00 in the Family Life Center. Ivy and Ty are having a baby girl.
Don't forget Harrisville Day on Saturday, September 26th at the ball field and fire department. The Ladies' Club will be having a sweets table at the fire department that day. They need help so if you can make a cake, pie, cookies, muffins, or more,please let Laura or Wilma know. Last year the fire department sold over 700 plates! That said, if we sold a sweet for each plate, we would need 700 slices. Now that's a lot of cake! Also, we will be selling boiled peanuts and the Harrisville UMC Cookbooks at that same table.
