We will be the LIGHT that is a shining example of the unconditional LOVE of JESUS CHRIST to the World.

Youth Page

We have a great youth group.  We meet for Sunday School at 9:45 a.m., UMYF meets Sunday nights at 5:00 p.m., and we have Bible Study on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m.

We have two great leaders - Mrs. Denise Ware and Mrs. Laura Sappington - but are supported by the entire congregation.

ATTENTION YOUTH!  We hope that everyone had a good Christmas break and is ready to go back to school.  We will resume our regular schedule now that school is back in session.  Please try to be at Bible Study Wednesday night at 6:30.  We will have a short lession and then some time in the gym.  Come and bring a friend!

We are in the process of adding more pictures to our website!

If you have a photo that you would like to submit, please send it to us!

This past December 15th, our youth group lost a friend and a brother in Christ.  His name was JT Young.  While JT lived in Harrisville, he was a very important part of our group.  He was a friend to all and loved by all.  JT went to be with his LORD and SAVIOR on December 15th in Oklahoma. A memorial service was held in Oklahoma on December 20th and in Harrisville on January 3rd.

JT will be truly missed and greatly remembered!

Below is a picture of JT and a poem that was written for his memorial service in Oklahoma.

     Life’s Journey
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what’s to be,
A resting place along the road
To sweet eternity;

We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all are meant to learn some things,
But never meant to stay…

Our destination is a place
Far greater than we know.
For some, the journey’s quicker,
For some, the journey’s slow.

And when the journey finally ends,
                                                  We’ll claim a great reward

                                                  And find an everlasting peace,
                                                  Together with the Lord.
